- What is coaching?
Coaching is a dialogue during which the coach facilitates the development of clients, helping them to clarify priorities and values, overcome challenges so as to improve their performance and create the results that they desire. The coach helps the client become aware of the resources and solutions that they already possess.As your coach, I ask powerful questions, listen to you, reflect on your thoughts and ideas, offer support, cheer you on and help you stay focused. But as the client, you always set the agenda.
- Who do you coach?
I work with professionals from many industries. My ideal clients are entrepreneurs, small to medium size businesses, management consultants and project managers. I have extensive experience in leadership training and coaching and have led teams/organization in both the not-for-profit and for profit industries.
- How long will we work together in coaching?
My clients typically start coaching services either with a minimum of 3-month up to 12-month commitments. The minimum coaching package is 3 months because if you want to effect changes in your life, you can only do it through a process. Change doesn’t happen overnight; and even the most willing of clients experience resistance to the very changes they want to make.Most clients stay with the coaching process beyond the initial commitment. However, if at any time the process doesn’t seem to be working for you, I ask that you commit to bringing the problem to me directly so that we can discuss the issue(s) and agree on how to proceed. If I am not the right coach for you, I will assist you in connecting with a trusted colleague of mine.
- What will we focus on in coaching?
The agenda of any coaching session is up to you. Some typical topics include:
- Taking your business or career to the next level
- Leading effective teams
- Spending more time on your top priorities
- Setting limits, practicing better self-care
- Organizing your space and schedule in order to reach your goals
- How long is each coaching session and how often do we meet?
Typically, each coaching session lasts between 30-60 minutes depending on your needs. The coaching session is held on a weekly basis but may vary depending on your needs.
- How do I get started?
Merely contact me and ask for 30-minute complementary coaching session. This initial session is at no or minimal cost to assure that coaching is right for you.
